What You Will Do

  • Building database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
  • Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end user’s information needs and views
  • Defining users and enabling data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
  • Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
  • Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
  • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required

What You Possess

  • Depth knowledge on RDBMS, NoSQL database technologies.
  • Working knowledge on Opensource Database technologies.
  • Able to provide database solutions for business requirement.
  • Able to provide standards / design patterns for database design.  
  • Database Designing and Modelling (skill on any database designing tools)
  • Database logical modelling and physical modelling.
  • Database system design for optimal performance & continuous availability.
  • Able to determine database structural requirements.
  • Database performance tuning including SQL query tuning
  • Depth knowledge on Database Scalability options and challenges. 
  • Database security standards and implementation options available.
  • Database designing for Microservices based architecture.
  • Hands-on experience distributed database system design with RDBMS & NoSQL technologies.
  • Exposure to do sizing of the database
  • Experience of real time database replication and migration of database.
  • Experience of working in Agile methodology.
